I have never seen the 5.04 fee either, but i guess i escaped it with the no AF cap one platinum card, i only have an AF on my cap one rewards card $39.

So I was able to get my monthly "membership fee" waived from what i can tell. After asking him directly "You cant waive the fee this month but in the future it will be waived?" he said yes, that is correct. I said i felt like i was being punished for good behavior and then he said "I understand your concern, you wont see it anymore." So i then was really confused. I then asked to have the stupid $5 a month fee ive been getting charged lately waived. Asked for rewards to be added to my plain Platinum card and he said "no offers are available for my account." Anyone else see this button pop up last night? I clicked it and talked to someone for a while.
